What is an Interactive Read Aloud?


To begin, let's establish a clear definition of Interactive Read -Aloud:


➡️ Interactive read-aloud is a teaching technique in which the teacher reads a text aloud while engaging students in interactive discussions and activities. The teacher uses expression, tone, and gestures to bring the story to life and capture the students' attention.


➡️ This helps to promote comprehension, critical thinking, and active engagement with the text among students and sets the stage for meaningful discussions.




1️⃣ Empower Students to Become Active Readers:


➡️ Interactive Read-Aloud builds a community of readers, expands knowledge, oral language, and vocabulary, skills to become fluent readers, and creates a foundation of mentor texts for reading and writing mini-lessons.



2️⃣ Whole-group Instruction:
